Regina Meneses, M.A.

Regina Meneses is a highly experienced educator and Certified Reading Specialist (EC–12) with over 23 years in education. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Regina completed all three of her degrees at St. Mary’s University, earning a B.A. in Criminal Justice, an M.A. in Reading, and an M.A. in Educational Leadership. Her work is grounded in individualized instruction and a strong belief that students thrive when teaching is tailored to their unique learning profile, pace, and strengths.

Regina’s background includes teaching in both public and private elementary schools, along with 12 years as a high school Reading Specialist. She has extensive experience supporting students with learning differences, including dyslexia, and has worked closely with families and schools as a 504 Coordinator to help ensure appropriate accommodations and consistent academic support. Regina also has experience working one-on-one with autistic students, providing structured, compassionate instruction that honors each child’s communication needs and learning style. Her approach emphasizes clarity, consistency, and flexibility—helping students feel comfortable, confident, and capable as they build skills.

Parents value that Regina’s support goes beyond finishing assignments: she helps students strengthen foundational skills, close learning gaps, and grow into more independent learners—leading to stronger performance, greater engagement, and long-term success both in and out of the classroom.
