Molly Williams, MSW, ACSW
Molly Williams is an educational therapist, psychotherapist, consultant, speaker, and writer who brings deep clinical expertise in supporting neurodivergent individuals to her work at LA MindWorks. After years in Arizona’s pediatric behavioral health field, she earned her clinical social work degree from USC and completed advanced training at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in neurodevelopmental disabilities. There, she collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to develop effective, individualized supports for children with developmental differences, including autism and ADHD.
Molly integrates her clinical expertise into her educational and executive functioning work, with a strong ability to develop thoughtful, nuanced treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique strengths and needs. She has more than 20 years of experience working with children and teens from pre-K through 12th grade, as well as a passion for supporting young adults navigating life transitions, including those facing mental health challenges or coming from treatment settings. In this work, she helps clients build skills in executive functioning, academics, work, and case management as they move toward greater independence.
Molly also brings particular strength in writing and the humanities, using a strategic, pattern-based approach to help clients better understand and complete writing-based assignments while developing stronger, more confident writing skills. Drawing from her own experience as a twice-exceptional learner, she approaches her work with warmth, patience, humor, and empathy. She’s helped 7 year olds learn to write full sentences and high schoolers to write complex research papers.
Beyond her clinical and educational work, Molly has provided neurodiversity consultancy and speaking services to a range of prestigious institutions, including CHLA-UCEDD, CHLA-Adolescent Medicine, CHLA Pediatric Residency Program, USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work, USC Chan School of Occupational Therapy, and the University of Bristol (UK). She has also provided counseling services to adolescent and adult eating disorder treatment centers, and school districts across Los Angeles County.
