Maxwell Lee, B.A.
Maxwell Lee is a Learning Specialist with experience supporting children, adolescents, and families in both clinical and research settings. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she began her work on projects exploring the transition to adulthood for neurodivergent youth, including their preparational, educational, and social experiences.
She has received training in evidence-based interventions designed to strengthen family coping and problem-solving skills, and she draws on this expertise to bring patience, warmth, and practical strategies to her work with families. Her approach is grounded in collaboration and empathy, helping parents and children develop confidence, resilience, and effective skills. Maxwell values creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals can navigate challenges, build on their strengths, and feel empowered in both academic and everyday contexts.
Maxwell is interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology to further develop her expertise in child and family supports and to enhance the programs and strategies she brings to the families she works with. At LA MindWorks, she integrates her background in developmental research and clinical training to guide children of all ages and families through obstacles with understanding and care. She is committed to fostering growth, independence, and self-advocacy in the young people she works with, while supporting families in building strong, lasting foundations for success.
