Ashley Chen, M.A.

Ashley is a cognitive psychologist and educator who specializes in a range of academic support services, including tutoring, standardized test preparation, college admissions guidance, and executive functioning skills. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Cognitive and Quantitative Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), her research applies cognitive psychology principles to improve teaching and learning, focusing on areas like metacognition, curiosity, memory, and technology.

Ashley has developed expertise in supporting neurodivergent individuals with varying backgrounds, tailoring her approach to meet diverse learning needs with a proven history of success. Additionally, she spent over five years as a tutor working with students ranging from elementary school to college in various subjects, independently and as a part of Stanford University’s Summer Boost Program.

Ashley has extensive experience guiding students through the college admissions process and highlights each student’s unique strengths and goals, ensuring that their applications are an accurate representation of who they are.
